This project was a massive, end-to-end redesign for Timmy’s Pet Shop, one of the biggest pet supply websites in Ireland. The journey began with a complete brand revitalization, including the creation of a new, high-quality logo and a comprehensive website branding strategy. After finalizing the design layout, the implementation phase began on WordPress, utilizing Elementor Pro and WooCommerce to build a powerful e-commerce platform.
The most challenging and crucial aspect was developing the complex integrated stock management system. This system ensures that when stock levels are updated in the client’s physical shop, the inventory on the website is automatically updated in real-time. This sophisticated synchronization prevents overselling and optimizes logistics.
To enhance the user experience (UX), we meticulously categorized over 200 products and strategically placed product categories on the header and homepage for easy navigation. We also designed and implemented a seamless shopping flow, including custom cart, checkout, and account pages, complete with integrated payment gateways. Security was paramount, achieved through a comprehensive setup, including the implementation of the Wordfence plugin. The final result is a fully responsive, speed-optimized, and secure e-commerce site.
