The Challenge
Timmy’s Pet Shop already had an established physical retail business and needed an e-commerce website capable of supporting its growing online sales.
With a large range of products across dogs, cats, birds, fish, small animals and more, the website needed to make it easy for customers to find what they were looking for without becoming overwhelmed by the size of the catalogue.
Stock management was another important consideration. Products were being sold both in-store and online, so the website needed to work with the business behind the scenes as well as provide a good experience for customers.
The goal wasn’t simply to build a new online shop. It was to create a scalable e-commerce platform that could support Timmy’s Pet Shop as the business continued to grow.
Our Approach
We approached the project from both sides of the customer journey: making it easier for customers to shop online while making the website more practical for the business to manage.
The structure of the Shopify store was planned around how customers actually shop for pet products, with clear categories and navigation helping people move from browsing to individual products and checkout.
We also considered SEO throughout the website structure, ensuring products and categories had a strong foundation for being discovered through search.
Behind the scenes, the website was integrated with Timmy’s stock management requirements so that its physical and online retail operations could work more effectively together.

Mobile Shopping Experience
The website was designed around the way people shop today, providing a responsive experience across mobile, tablet and desktop.
Performance & Conversion

The Finished Website
The finished Shopify website gives Timmy’s Pet Shop a much stronger platform for growing its online business while supporting the practical requirements of running a busy physical retail store.
Customers can easily browse a substantial range of pet products, find what they need and purchase online, while the business has a scalable e-commerce platform that can continue to develop as its product range and online customer base grow.
Most importantly, the website was designed around how Timmy’s customers shop and how the business actually operates — rather than simply creating an attractive online storefront.
